the mountains we call home

Sometimes I feel as though photos need explanations - like they have a story that needs telling. I often like to write anecdotes on my blog that correspond with the photos I've posted. Sometimes I feel like the photos I've chosen to post parallel my mood or attitude, or are simply inspiring and I want to explain why. Other times, I feel like photos or artworks speak for themselves, and words would simply take away from the wonder the image possesses. That would be the case with these images. They don't need words to tell their story.
