Beauty in Blood is Jen Lewis' first conceptual art series. She has been working on the project since November 2012. The series follows her menstrual cycle, and each month she photographs her blood to showcase menstruation in a new light. Her photographs are beautiful, abstract, and conceptual - a beautiful illustration of bioartography. Of her work, Lewis says, "weaves together my love of the abstract, conceptual, feminist and pop art movements."
